Is SignFlow legally binding?
Yes. Every signed document includes a SHA-256 hash, signer identity, and timestamp — meeting eIDAS (EU), ESIGN and UETA (US) standards. For highly regulated contracts, consult a legal professional.
Do I need an account?
No — nobody does. Open the app, sign, download: no sign-up, no email, no login. The same goes for recipients of a signing link: they just open the URL, add their signature, and download. An account is only needed if you want to send someone a signature request, or post on the community board.
Is my document data secure?
Shared documents are encrypted with AES-256 before upload. The decryption key only exists in the link URL and never reaches our servers. Documents are automatically deleted after 14 days.
Is SignFlow really free?
Yes — completely free right now, with no download limits and no credit card. SignFlow is an experiment by
LemonApple Labs; if paid plans ever return, the core signing tool will stay free.
Can I sign on mobile?
Yes, SignFlow works on any browser. You can draw your signature with your finger on a touchscreen, or use the QR code feature to take photos with your phone camera.
Does my PDF get uploaded to a server?
No. Signing happens entirely in your browser — the PDF is rendered and edited locally and never leaves your device. Only if you use a signature-request link is the document stored, and then it's AES-256 encrypted first and auto-deleted after 14 days.
